In France mainland, 252 people died on the roads in October 2019, therefore showing 22 fewer people killed than in October 2018.
This decrease is mainly due to fewer pedestrian fatalities, whereas car users, motorcyclists and cyclists fatalities rise slightly.
Overseas
In French overseas territories, 20 people died on the roads in October 2019, the same number as in October 2018.
