In mainland France, 253 people died compared to 216 in February 2018, an increase of 37 deaths. The increase in mortality mainly concerns pedestrians, cyclists, young people aged 18-24 and seniors aged 65 and over.
Overseas
In the French Overseas Territories, road deaths are fewer than in February 2018, with 9 fewer people killed (13 killed in February 2019 compared to 22 killed in February 2018).
