Experiments

The National Inter-Ministerial Observatory for Road Safety (ONISR), as part of the missions assigned by the Inter-Ministerial Delegate for Road Safety, is in charge of conducting studies and research to meet the challenges of accidents and deaths on our roads. To this end, experiments may be carried out on a selected sample with a previously defined geographical location. They are used to test innovative road uses or changes in regulations or infrastructure organisation. Monitoring the implementation and evolution of user behaviour then enables public authorities to decide on appropriate measures to address major road safety and mobility issues.
