The implementation of population lockdown from 17 March to 10 May 2020 inclusive, as part of the management of the Covid 19 crisis, has sharply reduced all travel, particularly individual or leisure travel.
France Mainland
In France mainland, 207 people died on roads in June 2020, 85 fewer than in June 2019. The decrease mainly concerns car users (-33 killed) and motorcyclist (-28 killed).
Overseas
In French Overseas, 17 people died on roads in June 2020, 6 fewer than in June 2019.
