France Mainland
In France Mainland, 199 people died on the roads in October 2020, 58 fewer than in September 2019. The estimated number of fatalities is lower than last year for car users (108 killed or 31 less), motorized two-wheelers users (32 killed or 27 less) and cyclists (7 killed or 11 less). The number of pedestrian fatalities is increasing but remains low for the season (38 estimated fatalities).
Overseas
In French Overseas, road fatalities in October 2020 are lower than last year, with 19 people killed.
