The Rhône Registry allows researchers to analyse injuries characteristics according to road user types in order to understand severity aspects per vehicle type and also follow how people will recover and live after the accident.
For instance, the team published a paper in 2006 that compared children and adults injuries in cars to evaluate how well they were protected in cars :
