The Government, in line with the actions decided at the Inter-ministerial Committee on Road Safety (CISR) on 2 October 2015, reaffirmed the priorities for action to reduce road accidents when the National Road Safety Council (CNSR) was established on 23 January 2017:
- intensify the fight against dangerous behaviour,
- protect the most vulnerable users,
- encourage innovation to improve road safety,
- provide assurance that all road users are equal before the law.
