Road Safety observatories

According to the circular of 27 June 2018 notifying the network of road safety observatories, the prefect implements the local (county-level) road safety policy defined at national level. To carry out these missions, it relies on local government services. To this end, a "road safety" competence centre is in place, including a local road safety observatory which ensures the relay at county level of the missions of the French Road Safety Observatory (ONISR).
